What You Need -Simplified

You don’t need a gym or fancy gear to get strong. Many workouts require no equipment at all—so don’t wait to get started.


To get the most out of your strength programs, I recommend:

  • Light, medium, and heavy dumbbells

  • A mat

  • A sturdy chair or step (something you can sit or step on comfortably)

Want to go further?
Some workouts also use:

  • Resistance bands

  • A workout bench

  • A small Pilates ball

Hi! I’m Heidi, your trainer here at Fit Crew Collective. I specialize in low-impact, strength-focused workouts that fit into real life—helping you build muscle, protect your joints, and feel confident in your body at every age and stage.

Here’s why I created the Fit Crew Collective—and how we can make strength training actually fit your life.


I’m here to help you feel strong—whether you have a full gym, a couple of dumbbells, or no equipment at all, and even if you’re navigating health challenges like autoimmune conditions.


I’ve learned firsthand that fitness isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. What works for one season of life may not work for another. My goal isn’t to push you into someone else’s plan, but to help you discover a way of moving that you actually enjoy—so you’ll stay consistent.


I know what it’s like to feel unmotivated, overwhelmed, or like there’s no space in your day for one more thing. Some seasons are just full. That’s why I created the Fit Crew Collective—a place where we can meet for encouragement, check off our strength training together, and make it manageable.


Here, there’s no pressure for overnight change. This is about building a lifestyle you can keep, finding your strength in the middle of life’s chaos, and realizing that time and equipment don’t have to be barriers. Strength training from home is flexible—and there’s no reason you can’t press play.
